Is our bank loan service right for you?

It fits if you

You want a term loan for equipment, premises or expansion

Banks size a term loan on the project cost, your contribution and the cash flow that repays it. The project report and CMA data are where that case is made.

You need working capital and your bank keeps asking for more papers

A cash credit or overdraft limit is assessed on stock, receivables and turnover. Most delays come from a file that does not answer the credit team's questions in their format.

You have no collateral to offer

CGTMSE covers collateral-free loans to eligible MSMEs up to ₹5 crore, and Mudra loans go up to ₹20 lakh. Eligibility and the guarantee fee are checked before you apply.

Transparent pricing. Government fees itemised, always.

Professional fees below are one-time and exclude GST. Bank processing charges, CGTMSE guarantee fees and valuation charges are paid to the lender or the agency, and we list them for you.

What happens, step by step

Counted in working days from complete documents for our part. The bank's own processing time is as per the bank, and we say so rather than promise a sanction date.

    Loan need and eligibility

A call on what the money is for, how much, and for how long. We check Udyam status, credit reports, existing loans and whether CGTMSE, Mudra or another scheme fits before any paperwork begins.

    Queries, sanction and disbursement

The credit team raises queries, may visit the premises and gets a valuation where there is security. We answer the queries and follow up until the sanction letter, then help with the documentation for disbursement.

Documents you need

The lender's own checklist varies, but every bank starts with these. Phone photos are fine for KYC; the financials should be the signed copies.

About the business

  • Udyam registration certificate, needed for MSME schemes
  • Certificate of Incorporation or partnership deed, and GST registration
  • Audited accounts and income tax returns for the last two to three years, where the business has been trading
  • GST returns and bank statements for the last 12 months
  • Existing loan sanction letters and repayment track record

About the loan

  • Quotations or estimates for equipment, fit-out or premises for a term loan
  • Orders in hand, customer list and supplier terms for a working capital limit
  • Details of any property or deposit offered as security, if not applying under a collateral-free scheme

About the promoters

  • PAN, Aadhaar and address proof of each promoter or director
  • Personal income tax returns for the last two years and a net worth statement
  • Credit report consent; the bank will pull it, and we check it first

Six mistakes we see every week

  1. Applying before checking the credit report

A missed EMI on a personal card or an old written-off account shows up in the bank's check. Reading the report first lets you fix a reporting error or explain a genuine one in the file.

  2. Projections that do not match the returns

If last year's ITR shows ₹80 lakh turnover and the project report projects ₹5 crore next year with no explanation, the credit team stops reading. Growth has to be argued from orders, capacity or contracts.

  3. No promoter contribution

Banks expect the promoter to fund a share of the project cost, as per the bank's policy, and to show where that money is coming from. A file that asks the bank to fund everything is sent back.

  4. Skipping Udyam registration

CGTMSE, Mudra and most MSME schemes require an Udyam certificate. It is free and takes minutes, and without it the collateral-free route is closed.

  5. Asking for the wrong kind of loan

A term loan repaid over five years is the wrong instrument for stock that turns every 45 days, and an overdraft is the wrong way to buy a machine. Matching the facility to the use is half the credit case.

  6. Cash sales that never reach the bank account

Banks assess turnover from bank statements and GST returns. Revenue that stays in cash cannot be counted, so the limit sanctioned is smaller than the business could justify.

Questions founders ask about Bank Loans

How much does business loan documentation cost?

Our professional fee starts at from ₹19,999 for the CMA data, the project report and the loan application checklist. The Growth plan adds lender shortlisting and follow-up until sanction, and carries a success fee that we quote before you sign, payable only on sanction. Bank processing charges and CGTMSE guarantee fees are paid to the lender.

How long does a business loan take?

Our part takes 7 to 10 working days from complete documents: eligibility check, project report, CMA data and the application. The bank's processing time is as per the bank and depends on the loan size, the scheme and whether there is security to value. We keep the file moving by answering queries the day they arrive.

What is CMA data?

Credit Monitoring Arrangement data is a set of financial statements in the format banks use to appraise a loan: past and projected operating statements, balance sheet analysis, working capital assessment, funds flow and ratios such as current ratio and debt service coverage. The credit team compares your ratios with its norms, so the format and the numbers both have to be right.

What goes into a project report?

The business and the promoters, the project and why it makes sense, the cost of the project and the means of finance, the market and the customers, the technical and operational plan, and projected financials with repayment capacity. Banks read it to understand the business before they open the CMA data. It usually runs 20 to 40 pages, written plainly.

What is CGTMSE and am I eligible?

CGTMSE is a government guarantee scheme that lets banks lend to eligible micro and small enterprises without collateral or third-party guarantee, up to ₹5 crore. The borrower needs an Udyam registration and the loan must come through a member lender. A guarantee fee applies and is set by the scheme; we check eligibility and the fee before you apply.

What is a Mudra loan?

Loans under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana for small businesses, up to ₹20 lakh, given by banks and other member lenders without collateral. They are meant for small manufacturing, trading and service businesses, including new ones. The categories step up by amount, and the lender's own appraisal still applies, so a clear project report helps even at this size.

What do lenders check before sanctioning?

The promoters' credit reports and existing obligations, two to three years of returns and audited accounts, 12 months of bank statements and GST returns, the promoter's contribution to the project, the projected debt service coverage, the security or scheme cover, and the end use of funds. A file that answers all of these in one go is the fastest route to a sanction.

What interest rate will I get?

As per the bank's policy. Rates depend on the lender, the scheme, the loan size, the tenure, the security and the borrower's credit profile, and they change with the bank's benchmark. We do not quote rates on this page because any figure would be wrong for someone. What we do is put your file in front of lenders whose pricing fits your profile and tell you what each offers.

Term loan or working capital: which do I need?

A term loan funds an asset or a project and is repaid in EMIs over a fixed tenure. Working capital, as a cash credit or overdraft limit, funds stock and receivables and revolves within a sanctioned limit reviewed yearly. Many businesses need both, and the project report presents them together so the bank sees the full picture.

Can a new business with no financial history get a loan?

Yes, under schemes designed for it such as Mudra and, with Udyam registration, CGTMSE-covered loans, and through term loans where the promoters' background and contribution carry the case. The project report matters more without history, because the bank is lending on the plan and the promoter. Personal credit reports and income of the promoters are checked closely.

Can I get a loan against a government tender or a purchase order?

Often, yes. Banks and some non-bank lenders offer purchase order financing, bill discounting and bank guarantees for tenders, assessed on the buyer's credit rather than only yours. The documents are the order or contract, your track record of executing similar work and the usual financials. We include these options in the lender shortlist when a large order is the reason for the loan.

Do you guarantee a sanction?

No, and nobody honestly can. The decision is the bank's. What we control is the quality of the file, the choice of lender and the speed of answering queries, and that is where most rejections are avoided. Our success fee in the Growth plan is payable only on sanction, so our interest and yours are the same.
